NRE has two primary multifamily investment strategies consisting of a) value-add repositioning and b) core-plus acquisitions
The value-add strategy aims to identify well-located assets with depressed operating results caused by poor management and lack of capital investment. NRE seeks to reposition these assets by replacing existing management, strategically renovating assets, and aggressive asset management.
The core-plus strategy aims to acquire well-located, newer-vintage assets with more predictable operating results over long-term hold periods. The objective is to provide investors with the benefits of stable cash distributions combined with long-term capital appreciation in assets with limited downside risk.
